I went on a fluke charter from Lewes,De today. The bite was the same for me as has been for the last ten years on a boat... NON EXISTENT. No longer will I target fluke from a boat.

I hired the grizzly sport fishing charters out of Lewes Delaware on july 13TH . it was a very hot steamy day my Anglers fought the heat and did land about 42 or so fluke , but just 4 for the ice box they were good eating . I'am hearing many south jersey Anglers can't get a bite on many trips this hot summer :D :D :D

Pete 4 out of 42 is not a good bite when your fish only need to be 27"

I don't want to rag on the boat or captain, its called fishing not catching. I have never had a 'productive' fluke trip on a boat, charter or personal boat. I'll target other species from boats.

Just wondering if you have never had a successful flounder trip from a boat why keep going ? Sounds like waste of time and money ? Word on street is "Hooker" is pretty successful from a boat you should hit him up

I have stopped going on personal boats targeting fluke, this last fluke charter I did was an invite from my brother in law who is a well rounded angler in his own right and charters this boat all frequently and never got skunked like we did last Tuesday. I joined the charter after researching the boats reputation.
