6-22 D Bay Boat Limit of Fluke

Unread postby Hooker » Wed Jun 22, 2016 9:10 pm

Wasn't the best conditions today, the wind was a tad much but me and Mike still managed to catch our limit to 24".... The action wasn't great but we boated somewhere around 40 fish to get what we needed. No special color or bait did wonders as we caught on everything at some point during the day as long as it had a minnow attached to it, thank you Higbees for beautiful bait. Fished 16'-23' of 73 degrees water. The bite seemed off probably due to yesterday's storms. We even caught a rabbit fish, pretty neat fish.

Hey Hooker,
You did good after that storm went thru the bay yesterday. Some good eating there. Glad your boat did not get damaged.

Yea I didn't think I would do well after that weather plus the wind was honking today. Conditions were not nice but we pulled it though.

Thanks again Gordon! It was a hard fought battle but we made it happen. Great job on having your stuff together and having the know how to get it done day in and day out, this stuff doesn't happen just by luck!!!
