7-6 Fluke Pounding

I fished with Mark and Mike today on the bay. Wasn't the greatest conditions with wind against the tide but we were able to boat our 12 keeper boat limit in short time to 26 1/2" , 7 1/2 pounds....The weather was nice and the bite was pretty good. Fished in 16-20' of 79 degree water. All fish caught on Higbee's minnows. The green heads were outa control so make sure you have something to fight them.

Damn, that's a good catch for tough conditions, congrats. You're killing it, having a great year hooker. So, how do you keep the green heads off, I haven't found anything that works.

Only thing I found to keep the flies off is 100% DEET which is hard to find....

You find it yet Gene?
