7-10 Windy Fluke Report

Unread postby Hooker » Mon Jul 11, 2016 9:50 am

Short and sweet, the winds were honking and me and my crew took a azz beating on the bay today but they hung in their to put 10 keeper fluke in the box to 23.5". Not a ton of shorts today but enough action to keep us occupied. Also had 3 weakfish to 18" and a Cobia. At times we were drifting close to 3 mph with a sock out, the wind was our enemy today. The water wasn't real clean, I'm guessing from the night before storm. This was the roughest day I've fished for fluke in a long time, I feel it today. Fished 13'-24' of 78 degree water using minnows.
