7-17 Crazy Good Flukin

Unread postby Hooker » Sun Jul 17, 2016 5:53 pm

Fished today with my dad and Vince. Was a little bumpy early but flattened out nicely. Right off the bat we were into fish, really into fish. By 10 am we had our 12 fish limit to 24" but kept fishing for fun because the fishing was crazy. I'll probably be called a bullsh!tter but this is the truth, we boated 29 keeper sized fluke before calling it quits. They were in a small area and hungry!!!!! Action with shorts was uncountable and not many junk fish. This was my dads first fluke trip this year and I bet he's glad he went. Fished 18-24' of 78-80 degree water using minnows on my rigs. This was an outstanding trip, can't wait till the next one.

What a day on the water with Hooker and Vince. Lots of laughs and fantastic music by the Oak Ridge boys...lol. It was unbelievable action watching Hooker and Vince hook those nice flounder. I got lucky catching a nice one between those two.....They both are fishing machines and it felt so good being out there fishing with them. It was my first trip this year and what a trip it was..... Thanks guys for a great day.... Hooker see if you can get Willie Nelson music or Prince music next time. :?
