8-17 Fluke Fishing

Unread postby Hooker » Wed Aug 17, 2016 9:03 pm

Me and Steve gave it a shot today. Greeted by a stiff 20 mph west wind on way out made it a slow, pounding run. The wind never really stop, just turned north with the outgoing water and at times we were drifting close to 3 mph with a sock out. These conditions made it difficult to catch a few fish but we were still able to boat 7 keepers to 23 1/2" and a couple weakfish and blues. We worked hard for those fish today, wasn't so nice out.

Nice catch again and as much as you fish for them flatties I know they are for real and lots of money also but it's worth it.
