Hey fellow anglers, I'm Tim Thomas and new to the Outdoorsmen's Voice. I'm a high school Earth Science, Meteorology, and soon to be Physics teacher in Upstate NY, as well as a professional tournament angler outside of school. I fish as the co-captain with my brother of the Finders Keepers Sportfishing Team (http://www.FKsportfishing.com). Feel free to ask me about any products from the companies I currently represent and work for:
I am Pro Staff for the following companies: Okuma, Savage Gear, Water Wolf, Plano, Frabill, Atommik Flies, Shark Cannonballs, Deep Freeze, OceanLED, Gibbs Delta, Rhys Davis, Lurk, Fish Hawk, Automatic Fisherman, Mad Moo Tackle, and MTX Audio.
I am Field Staff for the following companies: Cannon, Humminbird, Minn-Kota, Michigan Stinger, and Aqua-Vu.

My main forte is king salmon and trout on Lake Ontario, but I also go for walleye and perch in the fall, ice fish for pike, walleye, and perch in the winter, and go for bullhead in the spring. I am also the Tournament Director for the NYS Winter Classic Tournament and NYS Ice Pro-Am Tournament Series events:

You can also find me on Facebook to keep up with the latest NY tournament news, fishing reports, product updates, features, and promo videos/pics. I look forward to interacting on the board with all of you!! Tight lines everyone!!

Thanks gentlemen! Glad to be here! Would the best place to put posts on trout & salmon fishing be in the freshwater forum? Also, if there are other tournament fishermen on the boards like myself, might be beneficial to have a tournament forum added.

Fighting king salmon is a blast! Check out this video we shot this past fall when we rigged up an Automatic Fisherman 33" ice fishing rod and put it down on the rigger!! NOTE: some minor explicit lyrics!
