Hello & pleased to meet you!

Unread postby TRipple » Wed Mar 01, 2017 12:19 pm

Hi my name is Tom. I'm from Liverpool in the UK and was wondering if there are any other UK anglers on here?

I mostly fish salmon, trout (sea & freshwater), carp and freshwater bass.

My favourite place to fish is the Lake District but I have also had some good times fishing off the UK south coast of Devon and Newquay.

Would love to hear whether anyone here has been to or does fish in the UK and where your favourite spots are! :)

Howdy there TRipple , welcome to the ODV . Not much of a salmon fisher , but now that I'm retired , I just may be planning a trip up north for the upcoming fall run . Always been on my bucket list ......... On another note , I did make it to England a good while back . Mendenhall Air Base for a short time . Very interesting area , little expensive though . Anyways , looking forward to your posts Tom , & once again , welcome . Good Fishing !

Welcome to the site Tripple. Always admired the way you folks across the pond Carp fished. Quite different than here in most cases and very effective.
