Decent last split ( pic heavy )

Decent last split ( pic heavy )

Things started out slow for us this year. We didn't get our field flooded till late and the birds just hadn't found it, But we ended up having a decent last split after all. Its not about the numbers but the memories made.

We even got into the geese a few times on the flooded corn.

In the end we made some great memories and got some good pics to share forever. I hope I can keep doing this a long time . Showing my little buddy this stuff and teaching him about the outdoors is the best part. He makes the hunts so much more enjoyable.

Who does the banding , & why ? I'm guessing it's a migration thing . Do the bands have to be sent in to somewhere w harvesting info ? Thank you.

Sorry toll keeper when I can. Go to a state draw in Delaware and only have two other party's to compete against its lack of birds/food , prime hook used to hold a million birds after the last breach the Feds said they where not going to fix it on top of that stopping of farming on refuges in Delaware has a lot to do with lack of ducks on both sides of the d bay. Yes you are supposed to report the bands to bird band. I had a good first split was really looking forward to the 3rd split
