is there any signs of the Pre-Rut

well it's the second week of October now . is there any of our members witnessing any bucks chasing the females just yet . there is ground scrapes every were . this hot sticky weather is not helping many bowhunters . when is the next cold snap will there be a Pre- Rut this fall :?: :?: :?:

Pete,
When I was in Ohio last week a Buck was chasing a Doe. I thought she was spooked but she came in shooting range and then she took off with the abuck right behind her. Not seen anything in our necklace of the woods yet.

I have not seen any rubs or scrapes yet but I'm sticking to trails until the chiggers die off.
My biggest fear is that when I die my wife will sell my guns and fishing rods for what I told her I paid for them.

I have seen rubs. No chasing or fighting.
