Hey Pete,
I was out there Monday morning. At 8:15 3 does came up in front of me and hung around for about 15 minutes at 30 yards. I was feeling confident and did not want to tag out so early in the season for an average doe. And that's all I saw. Monday and Tuesday PM I saw nothing. Tuesday AM there were about 1 deer just barely visible through the woods at about 100 yards.

I still have 2 weeks later this month too git one.

Here's the best story. My youngest son who doesn't usually hunt in NJ called and asked to borrow a climber. I dropped one off to him. He went out in the PM behind his house, climbed a tree and took a doe 10 minutes later. No scouting, no cameras, no bait, no effort. Geez!
My biggest fear is that when I die my wife will sell my guns and fishing rods for what I told her I paid for them.
