Went out in the am and hunted the south side of the farm saw 2 shooters. Went back out in the afternoon. Had a shooter jump the fence after crossing a major road he went east saw another deer closer was watching him turned out to be all busted up 2.5 year old. About 4 had a nice 3.5 year old skirt by. Thought nite was going to be a bust! Around 1640 car horns blowing here comes a doe. More horns here comes this buck dogging her tried to hang up in a hedgerow. But there was another buck coming he kept pestering buck. Thank God for spikes. Down hill to my point of wood lot. Stopped at 22 yards he looked around for the buck he could smell. I was redneck prides tarsal scent. He decided to move up to doe as I settled the dot on him and squeezed the trigger he went to mount her. Hit him alittle back left him layup over nite recovered this morning ImageImage
